The Connected Psychologist

The development and creation of The Connected Psychologist has empowered me to provide treatment to individuals, families, couples, and children with diverse disorders. Additionally, I have a clientele seeking life coaching, where I assist them in navigating career development and building meaningful relationships.

BNI Treatment Center: Consultant

During my time at BNI Treatment Center, I served as a consultant responsible for supervising post-doctoral fellows and offering crisis management support. In this capacity, I played a crucial role in training and instructing doctors in training, providing guidance on the appropriate modalities for therapeutic intervention, and fostering their professional development.

Tarzana Treatment Center: Senior Supervisor/Clinical Psychologist

Throughout my six years at Tarzana, I have had many roles including but not limited to providing individual and family therapy in an outpatient community mental health setting. I have led groups addressing topics like drug education, sex education, and healthy relationships for adolescents. Additionally, I conducted comprehensive intake assessments in inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on adults with substance use disorders and youth with co-occurring mental health diagnoses. I've completed training in Evidence-Based Practices such as Seeking Safety, MAP, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. My responsibilities include documentation, telepsychiatry appointments, and facilitating clinical supervision. I also train staff in the Department of Mental Health documentation, electronic record keeping, and billing procedures. Chart audits, crisis interventions, and collaboration with external entities like DCFS and law enforcement are integral parts of my role. As a senior supervisor, I oversee grant-based programs, and the pre-doctoral training program, and I facilitate various meetings to ensure continuity of care.
